Maria De Los Angeles Lopez is a Dominican illustrator based in Brooklyn, New York. From a young age, she fell in love with the vivid colors of her homeland and quickly discovered her passion for the arts, leading her to attend the prestigious Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School for the Performing Arts in Manhattan. She went on to study Economics at Pace University and is currently pursuing an MFA in Illustration at SUNY Fashion Institute of Technology.

Maria De Los Angeles’ work translates her emotional connection with childhood memories, nature, botanical elements. Seas, oceans, mountains, palm trees, and tropical flowers are ever-present components in her magical visual narratives. Her whimsical illustrations celebrate her roots and upbringing with a touch of modernity that gently remind you of the present.
